How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

The cache is a large, olive drab ammo can. Some bushwacking required. Closed toe shoes and pants recommened due to short undergrowth.

Aptly named, this cashe is a small walk off the main road in a large deforested area. Typically, geocachers plant their caches in places that they want other people to experience. Though this location offers an unappealing view of desiccated trees, it is still a nice, remote, quiet spot to have a picnic or to feast on blackberries.I would recommend wearing pants for this one due to all the SMALL blackberry bushes you will have to tromp through. Among the contents of the cache, I include a disposable waterproof camera. Please feel free to take a pic or two of you and your companions. As the shots are used up, I will replace the camera periodically.

If you enjoy finding a cache that contains things other than dime-store plastic toys and junk, then you should try this one out. I enjoy caching for the actual looting of the treasure after the search. And like many people I know, I am dissapointed when I open a can full of McGeoJunk. When I first started caching I swore to myself that if I ever started a cache of my own I would start it off with some useful objects inside. So if this cache had a theme, it would probably be "Please don't fill me with junk."
