Geocache Description:

Beautiful drive on Frazier Mtn. Isn't the view wonderful?

We spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon on Frazier Mtn. After stopping for a late lunch at this scenic spot, we decided to place a cache here. Go up Frazier Mtn via Chuchupate Campground. The road will become dirt after the campground. At the first junction, go straight (East Frazier Rd). We have a high clearance 4WD, but it may not be necessary if you are careful. So, I'd say, high clearance 4WD RECOMMENDED. The terrain rating is really for the drive, since the cache is a short hike from a good parking area on the dirt road. No real bushwhacking required!Enjoy the beautiful forest! We love it up here because it's so peaceful and cooler than the valleys.
