Geocache Description:


Twin Oaks
Twin Oaks
 A rather "typical" hide in a natural "hidey-hole" in one of these two giants. As you can see, they are right on the side of the road, on the shoulder. Directly adjacent, there is an area in which you may safely park. The twin oaks, and the parking pulloff area are on highway easement property.

The cache is a small, plastic, tubular container which holds a log and a few small, tradable items. There may not be a pencil, so be sure to bring one of your own! Bring Your Own Pencil!

Whereas the road along which this geocache is placed is a U.S. Highway (US Hwy 74-A); and

Whereas said U.S. Highway is located on property owned and maintained by the State of North Carolina Department Of Transportation; and

Whereas the tree which now conceals this geocache is also located upon said N.C.D.O.T. property; and

Whereas the leaves which now further conceal this geocache, were found in a post-mortem state, also occupying said N.C.D.O.T. property; and

Whereas I was unable to locate anyone at the N.C.D.O.T. with the authority or who thought it was worth their time to grant permission to hide said geocache on said property using said tree, and said post-mortem leaves; Be it therefore

Declared that this geocache is hereby placed and hidden upon N.C.D.O.T (public) property without expressed permission, verbal or written.

In Witness Thereof, I have unto set my hand and caused to be hidden, this geocache.

Done this 29th day of August in the 2004th year of our Lord.
Notice:

No trees were harmed, defaced, or moved from their original location in the hiding of this geocache.

All leaves used in the process of further concealing this geocache were found on the premises, and already in a post-mortem state. No new, living leaves were harmed, or used in the hiding of this geocache. Be it also noted that proper respect was afforded to those already post-mortem.
