Near the Balaton lake, on the top of a slope. Wonderful panorama to the lake. Watch out your steps at the edge of the chasm!
The chasm was created by a devolution, when a part of tbe hill slope to the Balaton lake, appr. one hundred years ago. Now it is a nice place for a short excursion, especially due to the panoramic view the place offers to the whole Eastern Basin of the Balaton, till Tihany and further.
The cache is reachable from Balatonfüzfö, by an unmarked path starting at the end of the Alsóerdösor street, with appr. 6-700 m walking in the forest.
As the path leads you to the very edge of the chasm, watch your steps and especially take care if small children are accompanied with you!
The container is a 19x19x9 cm plastic "kitchen box".
