Us cachers in the Tucson
area have at one time or another searched for the great
Purple, Red, Green and Blue Chest cache’s of the 2 Sonians.
Well, are you ready for the HAIRY CHEST?
The HAIRY CHEST is hidden about
.28 mile along the Wentworth Trail Corridor , which is a 100
ft. wide strip of land that lies west of the Saguaro National Park
boundary fence and east of private land. It runs from Broadway to
Speedway. There is parking at N 32 13.262 W 110 43.260 which
is also the end of Broadway. The trail is open to horses, hikers
and mtn. bikers and pets are allowed on a leash. Please do not
cross over the fences on either side.
The HAIRY CHEST contains a log
book and other stuff. The first finder has a choice of a compass or
a unregistered travel bug tag, but please do not take both, so the
second finder can choose the other.
