Starting point for this cache is the Dutch Gap boat landing. Round trip is over a mile on good paths. Last 50 feet can be muddy.
You can no longer start at City of Henricus park. Lots of wildlife usually visible.Cache is a large size ammo can with a mix of starter items. Walk the whole trail towards the City of Henricus park and it takes you by a large heron rookery. Pawpaws abound in this area, if you visit in late summer to early fall lots of ripe fruit will be visible. You may want to wear bug spray as this is a wetland area.
