Geocache Description:

The cache is an ice cream tub placed amongst the gentle hills of Cap Crow in Lourdes-de-Blanc-Sablon, Quebec. If you are new to the area, look for the “AVE” on the hill.

To get to the Cap Crow Cache (also called “C3”), park at the Adult Education Center, which is on the north side of Route 138 in Lourdes across from the hospital. From here, it is roughly 400 meters to the cache site.

On your way to the site, stop to read some of the interpretation panels and take in the site and views of the community.

The original contents of the cache include: a logbook, bubbles, a Newfoundland and Labrador patch, a Lourdes-de-Blanc-Sablon pen, and some small plastic toys.

This cache was identified as a potential site by local residents who participated in GPS activities offered by the Quebec-Labrador Foundation Foundation (see the "QLF Community Cachers" profile for more info.)
