A Dutch Treasure Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

KarenBB: Too bad, I had hoped to visit the cache this summer for maintanance, but it seems somebody got there before me...

As for the feasability of vacation caches: this cache has been present for nearly three years with many happy finders and no major problems until last september. I would not hesitate to start another.

Geocache Description:

An easy cache in a small but beautiful forest, close to lake Aydat in the Central Massif

I established this cache while on holiday in France, for two purposes. First because there are too few caches in this beautiful area; I have noticed that geocaching is as good a reason for visiting a certain area as any other reasons. Second because I couldn't find a good cache to leave my first travelbug ('Fietsje'), they were either too small or impossible to find... I hope this cache will be found soon and Fietsje will make its way home someday!
The (Dutch) owners of the nearby small campsite will maintain the cache for me (thanks guys!).

You can park a car at a few hundred meters from the cache at 45°40.181 N - 3°00.012 E, just next to the entrance of the campsite. The trees may make a good lock difficult, but the cache shouldn't be too hard to find. Good luck and enjoy the area!
