Geocache Description:

This cache is located in historic downtown York, PA. Good luck - come "Take the Test!"

This cache is located at the epi-center for all there is to know about York County. Did you know that George Washington spent the night nearby? How about that the Articles of Confederation (our nation's first Constitution) were forged around the corner, making York our nation's first capital? Or how about the fact that York is known as the Factory Tour Capital of the World? It's all true. But that's easy...get ready for the hard stuff...

To find the cache, walk through the front doors of the building located at these cache coordinates (NOTE - hours are 9:30am-4pm, 7 days a week) and tell one of the volunteers behind the desk that you are a geocacher and that you're here to "Take the Test!" The volunteer will give you the cache. Open it up and follow the instructions inside.

This cache can only be claimed by following the instructions found inside on the test sheet. So get ready and "Take The Test!" Good luck!

NOTE -- IMPORTANT -- For your log posting on geocaching.com, please state something that you learned while visiting the cache site.

This cache visit is perfect for families, couples, history buffs, and people of all ages who are curious about the tremendously rich history and unique sights & sounds found right here in York County.

**This cache is approved by the York County Visitor Center. The Visitor Center is a non-profit organization and is open to the public seven days a week, 9:30am-4pm. Admission is free. Geocachers are welcome!
