Geocache Description:

The cache I located a few mile off of 95 near the pony express route you will need a high clearance vehicle and I would recommend a 4x4 the trail is rocky, sandy, and washed out in places. Don’t try this in the family truckster.

The Wildcat Freight Station still has some stone great ruins that give you a feel for the layout of the station. It was built after the demise of the pony express in 1863 but was on the same route and served as a rest and water stop between Sand Mountain and Fort Churchill. There is a sign that will give you most of details.

The Stash is a white plastic container with “Range Rebel& Desert Duty” and “Geocaching” printed on the out side of it. It has all of the normal stuff Geocaching Letter Log Book a ink pen & mechanical pencil (please leave the pen & pencil)and the usual assortment of nick knacks trinkets & assorted toys to trade and treasure

Please Remember To Leave The Gates The Way You Found Them
Happy Trails & Sunsets
