PT Cruzin Series This in one of a series of
caches located throughout the Portneuf Valley along I-86 and I-15
each cache has a little bit of history included according to the
waypoint area. The Pocatello Tour Cruzin series is for travelers
who seek a brake from the interstate but don’t want to get
too far off the beaten path. Each stop is PDQ micro find and in
locations where the dog, kids and you can find services available.
Most all caches are handicap accessible and you will need your own
writing instrument. Good luck and welcome to Pocatello, The Gate

*The Gap Welcome to the foothills of the Rocky
Mountains, these foothills are known as the Bannock Range, once
used by the native Bannock peoples who lived and thrived in this
valley for over a century. Our lifestyle and environment combine to
make Pocatello an attractive place to live and work. Pocatello is
home to Idaho State University Bengal’s and The Idaho History
Museum located on the university campus. ISU is also home to the
new L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center as you will
see driving on I-15. This is also the area that Portneuf Regional
Medical Center is located with campuses to the East and West.
Portneuf Regional is growing to become the West’s leading
Cardiology center and has just become a level III trauma center. In
the near future a cancer center will be completed. Pocatello is a
great gateway to the North, South and West passages; it is a nice
drive in any direction to visit big city life, back county
wilderness or volcanic lands of yesteryear making this area a prime
spot for an adventurer.
