Geocache Description:

A drive-to cache for which a 4-W drive type vehicle is recommended. It is a dirt road with occasional ruts and potholes. It’s not city car friendly.

Use the McClellan Creek Road from Montana City; follow the “fruit” signs and your GPS; there is no bushwhacking required. The cache is less than 200 feet off the road. If the gate is open (May 15 – Oct 15), make sure you drive to the top of the butte for the beautiful views.

Note: If you are coming from the South, use the Warm Springs Creek road off the Clancy exit, and follow the North Fork..
