FawverFamily: I was going to replace this one like I did my other travel bug hotel that went missing at the same time, but I don't think this place is the best location for a travel bug hotel. I will replace a regular cache near this area soon. Thanks to all those that came and visited, well, except that person that took my cache. I would still love to have the log book back.....

Please!!! Only take a bug if you can leave a bug. Take 5 if you leave 5 etc. I have had to replenish this rest stop too many time because people are taking but not leaving. It's only fair for the other cachers...

You are looking for a full sized amo can painted to match the area. It will be pretty well hidden (I hope). When you find it, try to replace it in the same manner or better. The coordinates are an average of 1000 readings taken with an accuracy of 7 feet. As the name says, this is for Travel Bugs or Geo Coins only! Please only take an item if you can leave something similar (even trade or better). You don't have to take anything to leave a bug or coin though. If you are the owner of a bug/coin that finds it's way in here and you want it moved, just e-mail me and I will move it for you. The area also has other caches, so be sure and check those out if you haven't already done so. There are soda machines, bathrooms, playground equipment, lots of open ground, covered picknick tables and more. I have been metal detecting VERY near the cache site and found a silver half dollar along with lots of other coins dating back to 1880. If you have little kids, be sure and go down to the dock area and feed the fish. The kids will love it!
