Geocache Description:

Set beside the newly created Jubilee River, designed to provide flood relief to Windsor and surrounding areas. An easy cache involving a short stroll. Very close to J7/M4

The Jubilee River is a man made waterway designed to alleviate flooding in the Windsor and Maidenhead area and provide a habitat for many forms of wildlife.

Still in its infancy, many of the trees and shrubs are still protected by plastic mesh. The area has been developed to look like a natural river. Close to the cache site is an area of decking which extends into the water and allows you to walk out onto the river.

The cache involves a short walk across easy terrain, with reet bo parking at N51 30.415 W000 39.775

Successful cachers may wish to reward themselves with refreshments at the nearby family friendly pub "The Pineapple" (N51 30.520 W000 39.803) which serves a wide range of sandwiches and comes with a Cryptik recommendation.

Keep on trucking!
