Park behind the Clickimin Leisure Centre in their (free) car park, (Grid HU466412. It’s a steep climb up Staney Hill towards the cache, which is situated on the side of a hill giving a glimpse of Lerwick.
The cache itself is a sandwich box wrapped in a black plastic bag. The location is reached by a challenging walk up Staney Hill, a walk that I complete daily after work, in all weathers. Wear good boots as the tracks are uneven. The cache currently contains a number of items, the highlight of which is a Nokia mobile phone. A walk to any of the nearby hills, but preferably the one to the right of the long beige building (a water pumping station) will give a fantastic view of Lerwick. If you go to this hill, just below you will be one of the deserted wartime defence posts in this area.
