This is our first cache and is in honor of our 100th find.
The area around the building is open to the public from dawn till dusk. You can park less than 300 feet from the cache. There are nearby pavilions for picnics, ball fields for playing, and a large playground for younger kids. Be discrete as there can be lots of activity in the area. I have seen dogs there as well, so I believe pets on a leash are welcome. Winter weather may make the cache slightly harder to reach or find. Please bring a pen/pencil, as this is a micro cache.
When this nearby building was an elementary school, I attended it from Kindergarten to the 4th Grade. While here in the 3rd Grade I had a “tough teacher”, who I still remember today. She was one of the most demanding teachers I ever had, but I guess she prepared me well for the today's world. I will never forget her.
