Geocache Description:

My first cache! I hope you like it.
Two locations near the bottom of Mt Pleasant.

This is a simple offset cache, meaning that the above coordinates point to a site where information can be gathered, and this will then gives the coordinates of the final cache.

There is a park bench here. How many bolts hold the wooden slats to the frame? The answer is the number AB.
There is also a white 3 digit number very near here. Subtract it from 3566 to get the number CDEF.

The coordinates of the cache are:
S 43° 33.AB0 and E 172° 4C.DEF

This is a short walk or drive away (250m). A left turn at the T intersection should keep you on track. You may lose GPS signal within a few metres of the cache, but I find that getting an accurate lock in the nearby open area will give a fairly accurate pointer. The cache is in a 2L snap-lock container, large enough to hold most Travel Bugs. One TB is starting in the cache after recently arriving in NZ. Please ensure the container is well hidden again when you leave.

Enjoy the view!
