You will find this cache on a small plateau in a height of about
2720 m.a.s.l. vis-a-vis the Matterhorn North Face.
We recommend to start the hiking tour at Zermatt, GramPi’s Pub.
Take the well marked zigzag route to Edelweiss. In the Trift Gorge
follow the botanical path to reach the Mountain House Trift. From
Trift take the path to Hohbalmen. From Hohblamen take the wonderful
high-mountain trail to Schoenbiel.
This route provides spectacular views to the Matterhorn and a
lot of other 4000-meter mountains.
For the way back follow the path to west down to the valley,
then take the path to Kalbermatten and Zmutt back to Zermatt.
For this tour you only need hiking equipment. It is not
necessary to climb.
