Introduction:
Back to college!!! It’s finals week, and you’ve got some catching
up to do (or, should we say “caching up to do”?) It seems
that your lackluster performance and poor attendance have gotten
you in a deep hole this semester. In fact, you will have to have a
perfect grade on this final exam in order to graduate! There will
be questions from six subjects. You will be visiting a different
building on the University of Central Arkansas campus for each
subject.
Parking Information:
Although it’s not required, we recommend that you first go to the
UCA Police Station at N35 04.712 W92 27.630 and obtain a free
visitor’s parking permit that will allow you to park in any white,
yellow, blue, or green parking space on campus. The UCA Police
station is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. (By the way, if you
do happen to get a ticket while on campus, simply go by the UCA
police station and tell them you are a visitor and they will void
the ticket.) The coordinates listed above will lead you to a
suggested parking area. From here, you can walk the entire route of
this multi-cache (about 2.5 to 3 miles) without having to move your
vehicle. Of course, you may also choose to drive the route, but UCA
is primarily a walking-traffic-only campus, so it may not save you
many footsteps.
Description of Questions:
Each subject will contain two questions: one trivia-type “HOMEWORK”
question that you will need to do at home, and one virtual-type
“CLASSROOM” question that you must do “in class”.
The answers to these two questions in
each subject will yield one letter and one number. You will
then use this number/letter combination and the chart
provided to determine the number you will need for that
particular subject. When you have completed all six
subjects, you will plug in the six numbers to reveal the
coordinates to the final cache container.
To verify that you have the correct
coordinates for the final cache, take the sum of your six final
numbers (A+B+C+D+E+F). The sum should be 32. (Thanks to
Phantom_491 for suggesting this great idea!) If you have
double-checked your answers and are still having problems, email us
your work and we can grade it for you.
Yes, the HOMEWORK questions for each subject ARE a little
bizarre, but we wanted you to have to do some work to find the
answers. As with a real college exam, we suggest that you
read the questions carefully and do your research for
the HOMEWORK questions ahead of time so that you will be prepared
before you ever set foot on campus. The answers to these questions
can be found on the internet with a little digging. Or, you may
choose to utilize the Torreyson Library on campus at N35 04.779 W92
27.392. Library hours are posted by the front entrance.
Final Exam Questions:
Be sure to read each question carefully, and provide the
exact information that is requested!
