Seekin' in Absecon Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Led Zeppole: Bear Babe and I recently moved to southern Cape May County, so I'm no longer in this area very often. Stopped by this afternoon and retrieved both stages. The 10K Bookmarker TB was not in the cache, but the NASCAR TB was, so I'll move it along sometime soon. Bear Babe and I got married at the gazebo in this park on October 1, 2005, so it will always be a special place for us. This hide had a good run of over two years. Thanks to all who visited!

Geocache Description:

Two stage multi located in Absecon Heritage Park in Absecon, Atlantic County.

The first stage is a micro that will give you the coordinates for stage two, a regular sized cache (a round Tupperware container). Park on Ambassador Avenue near N 39 deg. 26.104, W 074 deg. 30.375. You'll see a playground nearby but fear not, it's not in there! ;) A paved trail runs around the perimeter of the pond at the center of this pleasant park. Both stages are off the trail that runs around the pond and out of view of the closest section of trail. **Please re-hide both stages so that they are completely out of sight.** This park is a popular place for walkers and joggers, so be prepared to be stealthy. Just bring a camera and people will likely think you're there to take pictures of the abundant waterfowl that live around the pond! Also, do not attempt this as a night cache (between 9 pm and 6 am) as you will most assuredly attract the attention of the Absecon PD. Good luck and happy caching!
