Hammond Covered Bridge N43 43.232 W73 03.234 is a 145 foot long town lattice truss. The bridge carries Kendall Hill Road over the Otter Creek. It is closed to vehicular traffic. The Hammond bridge was built in 1843. The Flood of '27 left the structure a mile downstream. It was restored to its proper location during the winter of 1927-28.

Depot Covered Bridge N43 42.586 W73 02.537 located in Pittsford, is a 121 foot long town lattice built in 1853. Samuel Carrara, a local builder, renovated the bridge and abutments in 1974. The original builder is unknown.

Cooley Covered Bridge N43 41.427 W73 01.707 is 53 foot long town lattice truss. This bridge was built in 1849, by Nicholas Powers. It carries Elm Street over the Furnace Brook. The other three bridges cross Otter Creek. /

Gorham Covered Bridge N43 40.799 W73 02.234 is a 114 foot long town lattice truss. It carries Gorham Bridge Road over the Otter Creek. This bridge was built in 1842.

AN OLD NEW ENGLAND COVERED BRIDGE
I know an old New England covered bridge
That spans a silvered, splashing, mountain stream -
A bridge whose every sturdy bolt and beam
Was made secure by men who loved their work.
A masterpiece of grace and strength they built;
And into it the village pride they put,
Insuring that all travel, horse and foot,
Might cross in safety to the farther shore.
Its tunneled length down through the aging years
The ruthless hand of progress has repelled;
And though offtimes the flood its doom has spelled,
Still stands the rugged bridge of yesterday.
Its sagging, shingled roof that leaks the rain,
Its weather-beaten walls and rumbling floor
Hold tales romantic of those days of yore
When youth was brave and maids were passing fair.
With instruments precise at their command,
And all the knowledge science may reveal,
No modern engineer, with stone and steel,
Can build an old New England covered bridge.
