Geocache Description:

Located on Cape Clear Island, off the South Coast of Cork

This cache is located near the Old Lighthouse and Signal Tower on the Eastern Side of Cape Clear Island. The island is a peaceful spot and well worth a visit. The cache can be reached on a day trip from the mainland, but if you have time it is well worth staying for a couple of days. The scenery and the many activities available on the island will make it well worthwhile. Information on activities, accomodation, ferrries, etc can be found on this webpage.
(visit link)

The cache can be reached within about an hour's walk from the harbour, though there is one taxi on the island which can take you to the lighthouse if the hills seem too much of a challenge. When you get to the lighthouse, please note it is on private property (the many signs will make this quite clear!). However the cache itself is not on private property, so you will not not need to climb any walls, fences, etc. to get to it.

Apologies for the long clue. To make things easier some of the less revealing bits of the clue are not encrypted. It should be obvious what is encrypted and what is not!
