Geocache Description:

This three point multi-cache takes you on a loop hike of approximately two miles. The trail is mostly sandy and fairly easy to walk on. This trail is bike, hike, horse, and dog friendly.

The first two stops are just off the trail and there is only a short amount of light bushwhacking, about 100', at the third and final cache site. At each stop you will find coordinates for the next stop. At the actual cache site, #3, you will be looking for a decon container. As with all hikes in this area, bring plenty of water. Parking coordinates are N 32° 44.044 W 116° 56.465

The area borders a National Wildlife Refuge and a Least Bell’s Vireo protected habitat. This bird is on the U.S. Endangered Species List. It is named after a New York taxidermist who accompanied Audubon on a trip up the Missouri River in the 1840's. The birds are a spring and summer breeding resident migrating south for fall and winter. If you’re lucky, and the season is right, you may get to see some.

The cache has the usual geoswag.
