A short walk beside the River Lagan. Asphalt paths throughout, 2Km by the shortest route. This cache page was re-written and the associated puzzle revised on 16th April 2005. Thanks to Lance Ambu for permission to use his photo of Drumbeg Bridge.
Directions: There is a car park at N54 32.073 W5 59.051, accessed from the Upper Malone Road (B103), at Drumbeg. The path to the cache is suitable for wheelchair users, but there is a flight of steps to be negotiated at the car park itself. The setting: This part of the river lies in the Lagan Valley Regional Park. There is abundant bird life and (very occasionally) otters may be seen along the far bank. The path runs close to the rive bank so please keep young children under supervision.
