Mini-rubbermaid near a marker commemorating one of the early families to settle the area.
I have driven by this way to work for many years, but never noticed this dedication marker until recently as I passed by on my way to a nearby cache. I have been enjoying the recent surge of caches suitable for hunting on the way to or from work and thought this spot seemed deserving too. The only thing keeping it from a 1 terrain is a lack of adjacent parking and the busy intersection nearby. Parking is available at the Forest Preserve driving range with an entrance about a block east on Golf Rd.
