This cache would be great on a bike or horse. Of course walking is fine too.

Lake Youngs is a protected reservoir, off limits to the public, but a wide dirt trail circumnavigates it.
The cache will take you to two areas of this trail.
The complete trail is a 9.5-mile loop around the Lake Youngs Seattle watershed. The trial is mostly packed dirt and gravel, rolling ups and downs with some moderate hills.
You do not need to complete the full loop to find the cache.
I parked at the listed coordinates N 47°24.086, W 122°07.052.
First you need to find the yellow post at N 47°24.735, W 122°06.723.
On the yellow post is a number, use this number for the letter A below.
B= A+2
C= A*3
D= A*2
E= A+D
Now onto the location of the cache:
N 47°24.[A+1]B[D+1], W 122°07.[E][A*3][C].
(note: if you are walking, you could change parking spots.)
Total distance is a few miles, or more.
This cache can be found on horseback, mountain bike
or on foot
.
No need to bushwhack, trails are available for the entire route.
The cache is a green ammo box containing goodies, logbook and a camera
.
Please take a photo of your group with the camera. I will post the photos when the camera is full.
This is also another great location to take the dogs for a walk
.
Bikers, joggers and horseback riders frequent the trail.
Doing the entire 9.5 mile loop often provides views of local wildlife such as deer, rabbits, birds, squirrel, .... As well as a great workout!
