This cache can be found after a nice drive through the forest below Big Bear. Take Hwy. 18 towards Big Bear, just after ArrowBear turn left on the dirt road leading to Green Valley Lake. A right turn is then needed towards Big Pine Flats Campground. Be aware that you will be on winding dirt road with occassional paved sections for approximately 8 miles. Though there are a few rough sections, 4WD is not needed, unless snow is on the ground or you come up the back way over White Mtn.
