This cache is a large camoed ammo can. If you bike to the cache,
please log it that way. If it is a nice day, there will be folks on
the trail. The bench trail is a loop accessed from many
intersecting trails. Two normal parking spots for the trail are
located at N35°13.254'/ W093°14.892' and N35°13.464' / W93°14.950'.
The cache is accessed easiest by taking the outer, less traveled
loop of the trail that contains the hike-in camp sites. This gives
you the full loop distance of 3.8 miles if you desire and saves
some bushwhacking.
The cache contains the normal trade items.
I put a disposable camera with flash for the cachers to use at
the site-please use it and leave it. Please note on the log how
many pictures are left. I will post them when it is full. *****No
camera in the cache for now. Please look at the pics and let me
know who these folks are so I can post it with them. New camera
will be put out soon. Still looking for more of the faithful who
will make the entire trip around the bench. Even though it takes
longer (better for you), if is much easier than making the climb up
and down anyway. We cachers seem to be in too much of a hurry when
that is exactly what we should be getting away from....thanks to
all of those who endeavor.******* Use the trails off the top if you
must but direct bushwhacking is insane and dangerous. Preserve and
use the trails.
Don;t miss the other caches on the Bench Road Trail such as the
Bench Road Trail Cache (400 feet off the trail) and I hideth my
cache in the cleft of the rock caches.
NOTE: This cache has a Arkansas State Parks Permit # 34 Verified
