And I Speak For The Trees Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

CerebroMater: Well, since I've managed to irritate two usually-unflappable people in a 24 hour period, I'll put this one to rest.

Geocache Description:

A small cache in a Monterey park. Don't wear your good shoes for this one and don't hesitate to use the hint if berry bushes irritate you.

The title of this cache provides both a location and hide hint. This small and well-cared for Monterey park is often passed but usually not stopped at. The closest street is also the best way to Hwy 1 if you're on your way out of town and want to avoid the tourist gridlock on Del Monte and Fremont Streets. I've chosen this location to hide my first Monterey area cache, mostly because of its proximity to my home base in the area, and the fact that all the other cool spots I frequent already have caches associated with them.

The best I could do was a 4-bird lock, with 40 feet EPE. The hint below is a total spoiler, but I couldn't not include it considering how the tree cover messed with my coords when I placed it.

An additional bit of seasonal information to avoid irritated cachers: during the summertime this location is a daycamper's bonanza, with all sorts of mini-muggles running around. You may or may not be able to enter the park unchallenged by a pimply-faced camp leader during these times, so it might be best to limit your search to the wee morning or early evening hours during summer weekdays.
