A film canister in a Hoke county shopping center. It appears the magnetic keyholder disappeared and someone replaced it with a film canister.
Our first Hoke county cache, about 30 miles from where we live, but pass here often. Many cachers are beginning to use this system of hiding caches, especially in Nashville. We have found them in a number of different states. This cache is an attempt to let cachers see a bit of southcentral North Carolina. The fields nearby will soon be "white unto harvest" (cotton, that is). Also, just off the main road one will see large fields of soya beans and some remaining tobacco to be harvested.There is only a small log sheet. No writing instrument; so bring your own. Be sure to get the log back in so as to be able to close the top.
