Geocache Description:

Just off a rough track up a steep hill.

The cache is now a clear plastic box containing some small trinkets and goodies.

Parking can be at the Forest Chapel at N 53 14.778 W 2 02.447. Take the rough track, northwest, up the hill enjoying the views back eastwards towards the Cat and Fiddle.

If you get to the northern end of the track there are great views across Cheshire to Wales, and even far South to Shrewsbury.

There are other caches in the area, at Tegg's Nose and around Macclesfield Forest. Some could be visited on the same day, with careful planning. Here is a list of a few of them:

'Nosing' about by sharkfin
Walls end by sharkfin
Shutlingsloe (Cheshire) by MaccLad
Tegs Walk - Park Up
Tegs Walk - Macc View
Tegs Walk - Cattle Grazing
Tegs Walk - Reservoir View
