This cache is obviously placed on the Nebraska State Fair grounds. In a relativly wooded area, approach the cache form the correct coordinates, this may not be the closest coordinates, and it is fairly easy. If you study the picture you will see a hint at how to reach the cache area. If you encounter thorns you are either approaching from the wrong direction or have gone past the cache.
This cache was inspired by the possibility that this may have been the last Nebraska State Fair. I wandered the fair for two days collecting all the free stuff I could, taking pictures along the way. I have placed all the goodies in a rather large ammo can. There are at least 5-10 major prizes located in this cache for the first few to choose from, ranging from a nice Nebraska Huskers T shirt, A very nice Nebraska Huskers poncho (I really would have liked to keep it) but in honor of the fair I placed it in the cache, there is a multi tool-kit combination flashlight, an Official 2004 Nebraska State Fair lapel pin, a flashing Nebraska State Fair light (I like shiney objects), 5 quality gun locks (suitable for other purposes according to the officer that gave them to me). Several small metal containers suitble for small cache containers. A fairly large amount of pencils and pens, several key chains, a plethora of stickers and police tattoes, pins, many refrigerator magnets, rulers, coloring books, puzzle books, a few phamplets, a bag full of business cards if your looking to build a patio or put on new siding among many others, a wheres George dollar I recieved in change,and lots of other stuff too, I estimate over 200 items. For the first few to visit there are even some fair goodie bags you can grab to place all the loot you want to take from the cache (just as if you were there). There is also a photo album with many of the photos I took at the fair (if you look close you will find a hint to the other cache hiddin on the fair grounds as well as a picture of this cache location). And last but not least there is a logbook a pencil and a pencil sharpener (please leave these). I have also placed an empty zip lock bag for those of you that want to leave non fair related items. So for those of you that missed the 2004 Nebraska State Fair and would like to get in on the festivities have fun. (oh, sorry I ate the corndogs, funnel cakes, cheese on a stick, fried twinkies, footlongs, sundaies on a stick, porkchops on a stick, fudge, frozen homemade ice cream, and yes I did have fries with that).Happybalz
