Geocache Description:

Earth Caches were only just new when I placed this cache, that is why I placed it where I have, as this is a part of the world you need to see, and a geocache is a perfect way to bring people to the location! The picnic area was also fully functional, but has now slipped into a state of disrepair...
This cache was also part of a university assignment on handheld gps vs. rtk gps accuracies.

I tried to be creative with the location of this cache, but the foliage was proving to be a bit of a problem with navigation.Hence, this cache has been placed close to where it was intended, so be sure to make the best of your trip and visit the sites. Bring the geokids, and pack a picnic lunch or you can grab a meal at the 2 pines cafe nearby. Be sure to leave the geopets at home for this one! Cache is a rectangular container wrapped in a plastic bag. Please be sure to seal the container properly and re-wrap the cache in the plastic bag, as it tends to get rather wet in this location. The rocks/wood will need to be replaced on and around the cache to prevent "locals" from knocking it about! There is an easy way and a hard way to get to this cache... the most obvious is not the easiest!
Thanks, and happy hunting!
