Tree Trouble Traditional Cache

Along well established trails in the forest preserve.
We recently paid a visit to the Nature Center and picked-up a trail map for this part of the forest preserve. On the map was a marking showing the location of a trail tree. Having enjoyed Genius Loci's "A Tree by the Trail", we were inspired to go out and find the tree. Unfortunately, we were not sucessfull. Maybe the tree was lost in a storm, or maybe we weren't in the right area - but no trail tree was found. Decided to place a cache anyway, and leave the trail map, just in case other caches want to try locating the tree. If you find the trail tree, or know what happened to it - please let us know!The cache is located very close to the main trail, with easy access to the parking lot. We brought the kids and stroller with us when hiding the cache, so no need for heavy bushwacking. We did notice many people riding their bikes along the main trail, so some discretion may be required on weekends.
