Friendly Neighborhood Park #2 cache is located in Pine Creek Park. Entrance to parking is on Yellow Springs road in West Pikeland Township.
Pine Creek Park is the most diverse FNP that I know. Many people know the park as a basic sport field/playground FNP, but it is much larger than this. The park includes large grassy meadows with wide horse trails, woods, streams, a pond, and even an old house (no entry). You’ll get a small taste of it all on your walk to this cache.
Distance is ¼ mile from parking as the crow flies, but longer for those of us who walk. Most of the walk is along a dirt road, but terrain gets more difficult near the cache. There is no need to walk on marshy ground. Cache is a medium size ammo box, well hidden. Please hide as well or better than found. While here, you can also cache a nearby micro (GCHRTF).
