Murder Mystery event Tourne Morris County Park at the Pavillion. Please plan to attend the event between 10-11 a.m. Runs until 4:30 p.m. Invitation is extended to everyone.
You are cordially invited to take part in a murder mystery geocaching event called: “The Old Tourne’s Auction” (this is not a real auction!)
The Old Tourne Has Been Murdered!
The East Coast's oldest and most venerable geocacher is dead! Police suspect foul play and have left the geocaching community to solve this hideous crime! Can you help the geocaching community and solve the murder?
Each cacher attending will play a ficticitious geocaching personality. Participation is not mandatory, with 4 different levels of involvment: a) none b) minimal c) average or d) integral (devious, underhanded and highly suspcious!). Please e-mail me to let me know your desired involvement. Everyone has secrets, agendas and goals and is a prime suspect, one is the murderer! To find out who dunnit, attend the event!!!
After the Old Tourne's sudden death, his geocaching regalia will be auctioned. Proceeds will go to the Association For Weary Travel Bugs unless a rightful heir or heiress is identified.
FOOD:
There is no electrical outlet, but there are 4 grills for keeping plates warm. We have no immediate food needs, but drinks, coffee, hot chocolate and chips are all good suggestions.
DIRECTIONS to Tourne Pavillion:
Enter the park from the Boonton side (McCaffrey Lane).
The Denville entrance has a gate which they have been keeping closed which does not allow you to drive up to the Pavillion (you can park and walk the 1/4 to 1/2 mile to it though).
