Baylands Cache & Carry Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

WeBeDnD: [:(] last night while checking on Token Gesture (also missing and now archived), I decided to check in on this one and add some ready-made micro caches. After scouring the area, I've determined it's gone. The cache is certainly not where I left it. It's also not within a 20 foot radius of it's original spot. I did find a hole in the bed of pine needles 3' from the original spot that had the characteristic shape of an ammo can, however. And the 3 sticks that had been used for pointing to the cache had been laid in a neat little pile in the shape of an asterisk near the original hiding spot. The very unfortunate thing about this cache going missing is that it appears to have had 3 travel bugs in it. I do hope that who ever took this cache will at least move the bugs along. [:(]

Geocache Description:

An ammo box cache with logbook, pen, and lots of ready-made micro caches for you to deploy!

This cache can save you lots of time running to the photo store for film canisters and it'll save you even more time printing cache log sheets to make micro caches. I filled this ammo box with ready-made micro caches for you to take along after you find this cache. You do not need to trade for them, just take one or more and then place them in cool locations! They make great no-hassle urban micros. My only requests are: don't hide them in ivy and don't hide them out on a far hiking trail where you could put a regular size cache instead. Please let me know if the supply is running low. If you want to contribute caches to the stash, that's cool too.

When I placed the cache and whenever I do maintenance, I leave a nice pine branch poking stick pointing right to the cache. I left the cache toward the outer edges of the tree beneath a bough so you do not have to enter too far toward the trunk. Provided others do the same, the cache is easier to find. If all else fails, use the stick to poke in the needles stead of your hands.
