Team Bam Bam: This has now been muggled or otherwise destroyed twice. It really was a pain in the a$s, anyway. There are no TB's in the cache so we will not bother replacing it and will, instead, retrieve the remains.

Geocache Description:

Located in the Great Piece Meadow. I believe this is the first cache in Lincoln Park, NJ. This is a short but difficult walk, be prepared for mud (or outright water in rainy seasons).

There are a few parking spots along the side of the road and people are parked there regularly during hunting seasons. Parking can also be found across the road at Lincoln Park Elementary school when school is not in session. Please do not park there during the school day. The school lot is at 40.54.596, 074.17.238

This is in the same 'park' and a mere 2.1mi bushwack from BrianSnat's Passaic Hideaway cache, read the logs there if you want to get an idea of the terrain. This cache is a shorter version but there are no trails to follow.

The area is wet most of the year but during periods following heavy rain may be flooded. It was pretty moist when we placed it and we got there allright.

During certain times of year this area is used by hunters (although I do not believe deer are hunted here - turkey, maybe?). Please dress in the proper 'hiking in the woods during hunting season' attire.

The cache is about the size of a large coffee container (because it is one). Original contents include a 2 disc CD of Jimmy Buffett 'Live at the Palladium' in NYC 3/14/81. Other trading items: Playing cards, 'Irish' mardi gras beads, a TB, and a few other standards.
