Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to Lt. Clyde "Trey" Alley, an officer with the Tybee Island Police Department and all other officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Lt. Alley was killed in the line of duty on April 12, 1999. Trey was trying to pull over two suspects from a burglary when a high speed pursuit ensued. Trey crashed into a palm tree and was killed instantly.

The cache is located near a memorial erected in Trey's memory.
