Alle 100 metrin päässä on parempi näköalapaikka kuin aivan kätkön kohdalla. Ota kiikari mukaan.
Täällä käy myös kalliokiipeilijöitä. Eteläseinämällä on melko jyrkkä luiska, pirunpolku, jota pitkin pääsee kiipeämään ylös. Joku ystävällinen kiipeilijä on kiinnittänyt köyden luiskan jyrkimpään kohtaan kävijöiden helpotukseksi. Käänny vaikkapa vasemmalle (pohjoiseen) luiskan yläpäästä. Mitään erikoistaitoja tai varusteita et tarvitse. Sammalet ja jäkälät ovat liukkaita. Vältä niiden tallaamista ettet vahingoita luontoa tai itseäsi. Jäisellä tai märällä kelillä tätä reittiä ei kannata käyttää. Maastoltaan reitti on 3-3.5 tähteä.
Voit valita myös helpomman tien (2 tähteä). Pettiläntieltä pääsee metsään muuntajan kohdalta: N60 21.073, E23 08.878. Polku näkyy ainakin OpenStreetMapissa.
Auto kannattanee jättää aivan kallion juurelle kantatien varteen suunnilleen koordinaatteihin N60 21.206, E23 08.585, minkä reitin sitten valitsetkin. Älä tuki pääsyä pellolle.
Kätkö on 1,2 litran Curver-rasia. Laitathan rasian takaisin samalla tavalla ettei se pääse liukumaan näkyville. Lumiseen aikaan kätköä voi olla vaikea löytää.
A better vantage point is less than 100 meters from the cache. Take binoculars along.
Rock climbers can be often seen here. There is a rather steep ramp (pirunpolku, devil's path) on the southern face of the cliff. There's a rope installed to the steepest leg of the ramp. I suggest that you turn left (north) after the ramp. Climbing up is possible without special skills or equipment. Moss and lichen can be very slippery. Avoid stepping on them so that you don't cause damage to the nature or yourself. Do not use this route if the ground is icy or wet. Terrain rating of this route is 3-3.5.
You can also pick an easier way (terrain 2). You can get to the forest from the gravel road Pettiläntie. Head to the forest from the coordinates N60 21.073, E23 08.878 by a transformer. The path is visible in OpenStreetMap.
Whichever route you choose, I suggest that you leave your car by the side of the road 52, to the coordinates N60 21.206, E23 08.585. Do not block access to the field.
Cache is a 1.2 litre Curver box. Put the box back so that it won't slide visible from its hide. Finding the cache can be difficult when there is snow.
