Geocache Description:

On 7/28/2005 I replaced cache with an Ammo Box.

Knights Pond is off the Beech Hill Road. The Beech Hill Rd. runs between Rte 1 and Rte 52 from Saturday Cove in Northport. About half way across going west you will see sign Knights Pond Rd. Go to the end approx (3 miles). Park out of the way and be sure to lock your doors..During the warmer months it is a popular picnic ~ swimming place..Wyman Park. Walk on up the road way (not auto passable). A rather broad path leads off to the right. From there the co ordinates will take you to (according to my E-Trek) within 21 feet. Look for the huge pine tree...PLEASE NOTE: MBNA SECURITY PERSONEL HAVE ADVISED THAT NO ONE IS TO WALK TRAILS IN THIS VICINITY DURING HUNTING SEASON..MAYBE WITH BLAZE ORANGE .. IT WOULD BE OK.
