Geocache Description:

Hilly graveyard location.

This is a themed cache located in a graveyard. The theme is the graveyard, of course! Items in the cache should be graveyard-related. Toy skulls and bones, headstones, things with graveyard imagery on them, etc., are appropriate. No pumpkins or cutesy halloween stuff, please. Ghosts? Well, if you believe... Please, no *actual* dead things and no really gruesome/gorey stuff (such as bloody toy severed lims).

This cache is the point of origin for the travelbug Dead Man Walking (TBHHP7).

This scenic cemetery by the river is a popular daytime walking & jogging area for local college students and businesspeople on lunch break. If you drive in, please go slow and be on the lookout for people on foot. A great place to leaf-peep, if you’re into that kind of thing.

The cache is carefully placed so that you do not have to cross over grave sites to get to it if you start at the recommended waypoint. Please be respectful of the location and tread gently no matter where you go.

The entrance to the cemetery is at: N 42d 22.157 W 071d 14.699

There is parking for 1 car at: N 42d 22.004 W 071d 14.900. I recommend you start your journey here, whether you drive in or not, and proceed directly uphill.

Beware of muggles. No dogs allowed on site.

Please, please, please re-hide the cache when you are done! I've gotten a few reports of people being able to see the hiding spot from a fair distance. The cache is NOT supposed to be in plain sight! What fun would that be?

There are a few hints, in increasing order of helpfulness. I recommend you decrypt them one at a time on the trail for help if you need it.

*** NOTICE: This cache will be RETIRED ON APRIL 18, 2015. Please TAKE stuff to circulate but do not leave stuff, especially trackables, in this cache ***
