Geocache Description:

This is one in our series of 7 Rainbow caches. Long pants recommended, and it couldn't hurt to bring your trekking stick for probing, snake-checking, etc. A prying tool may be needed for opening the cache container.

The top of this hill is used by locals for flying radio controlled aircraft. It presents a great view of the surrounding city, especially of the Chet Holifield Federal Building, known locally as "The Ziggurat" due to its Babylonian-type architecture. The building (which is "yellow" by the way!) houses several government agencies, including a part of the IRS.

The hilltop can be reached without any crash-and-thrash from below. Just drive up the little road at Awma and Alicia Parkway and pull into a parking spot. The driveway is open from 7 a.m. to sunset. Follow any path to get into the cache area. It is just a little over 300 feet from parking. The terrain is a level 1 1/2 for most of the way.

Try to bring yellow trades, in keeping with the theme, but if you don't have any, that's ok---it is not required.

Please rehide the cache well, arranging the foliage and ground debris, so it will avoid detection by others using the trails. And, don't trip over the benchmark on your way out!
