forest...
Cache is a small tupperware jar partially wrapped in black duct
tape (don't you hate running out of tape in the middle of hiding a
cache?!?) and hidden just off-trail in Jack's Peak Regional Park.
I've included a FTF prize, though modest, in the same bag as the
logbook. There should be no bushy overgrowth to contend with, and
there was no visible poison oak in the area when we placed it.
As other cache descriptions for Jack's Peak have mentioned,
there is a $3 weekday/$4 weekend fee to park inside the park
boundaries, and a "free" parking area just prior to the ranger
kiosk. Hours are from 10 to 6pm, but note that they will not let
people "in" after 5pm.
