Alle veier fører til Roma heter det. I Arendal fører alle turstier
og skiløyper til Granestua. Granestua har vært et populært
utfartssted siden 1948. Den er åpen for servering hver søndag fra
september til mai. Og den er ellers et samlingspunkt for
Idrettsklubben Grane. Hytta, opprinnelig en tyskerbrakke, ligger
idyllisk ved Kaldstadtjenna. Rundt Tjenna går en turvei
tilrettelagt for barnevogn. Cachen ligger like ved denne. Det er
ellers mange rundløyper rundt Granestua, i tillegg til de løypene
som starter/slutter her.
Fra E-18, følg skilt til Granestua, og parker på
parkeringsplassen. Det er ca. 1 km gange hver vei på flat og god
sti. Cachen kan også taes som en del av en lengre tur som ender
eller starter på Granestua. Informasjon om løypenettet og kart
finnes på turkartet ”Arendal Nord” og ”Kristians løypebok” utgitt
av Granestuas venner.
It is said that all roads leads to Rome. In Arendal, all paths
leads to Granestua. Granestua have been a popular place to go since
1948. It is open as a café every Sunday from September to May. And
it is also a popular place to come together for the Sportclub
Grane. The cabin, originally a barrack from WW2, is located very
scenic at the bank of the lake Kaldstadtjenna. Around the lake,
there is a wide path made for childrens trolley. The cache is
located close to this. There are also many other round-paths around
Granestua, in addition to all the paths ending/starting here.
From E-18, follow signs to Granestua, and park at the
parking-lot. App. 1 km. of walking each way on flat and good path.
The cache can also be taken as a part of a longer trip, ending or
