Clark Pond Cache Multi-Cache

Located at beautiful and remote Clark Pond in Canaan, NH, this multi cache is well hidden, as are the two intermediate waypoints. The trail is good and the total walking distance is less than a mile each way, but finding the cache will require maybe 150 feet of bushwacking.
Cache is a green ammo box well hidden in hide-d-hole. To find it you will have to find the two intermediate coordinate clues. These are written on 4 inch clear plexiglass rings that are well hidden in the trees. Both are about 3-4 feet off the ground, but will be very difficult to spot. The cache is very well stocked with new camping and kid's items.From Route 4 in Canaan, take Switch Road. At the stop sign go straight onto River Road. Not long after this road turns to dirt, you turn left onto Clark Pond Road, which is not maintained for winter travel but is fine for regular cars in summer and fall. The intersection is well marked. Follow Clark Pond Road to the end which is the parking lot for Clark Pond--43 43.608N, 072 03.410W. This pond is one of our favorites with a wonderful sandy swimming beach out near the cache. It's a very quiet pond with loons and lots of moose tracks. Happy Hunting!
