The above coordinates are NOT TO THE ACTUAL CACHE!
They are the coordinates to the entrance to the trail head where
you will start your Nite Caching Quest! There is great parking very
near the trail head too.
A FUN NITE ONLY CACHE! It's around a 1/10th of a mile walk on a
nice wide trail. The cache container is a 30 cal. camo'd ammo can.
The cache is well stocked with some good loot; so come ready to
trade! (This is a regular 1 stage cache. I was told I had to
classify it a "?" cache because that's the rules of gc.com
since the cache is not listed at the coordinates on the cache
page.)

There is a Camera in the cache.
Please take your picture to verify that you were brave enough to
find this at NITE! These ought to be some really cool
pictures too! The camera does have a flash ; so it's ready to
go. Please make a note of the photo # and write it in your on
line log so we'll know who everyone is!
This is a NITE ONLY cache; It's not daytime friendly at
all!
Go to the posted coordinates to start your adventure!(The
coordinates will take you to a well defined trail head. ) You'll
know you are in the right spot when you see a big, reflective
"X" ! Enter at the "X" and begin your short hike
while panning your flashlight down the trail until you see 2 WHITE
"eyes" watching you. Walk toward the "eyes".......they are your
friends!
STAY ON THE TRAIL and continue this procedure until you see the
next set of WHITE eyes. You will repeat this process over and over
tonight.
There is no need to bush wack at all and there are no short
cuts! So just continue to stay on the trail and follow the
"EYES" until you see a "3 EYED MONSTER" (This monster has 3 "eyes"
instead of two, and each "eye" is a different color; they are in a
verticle row; one orange "eye", one white "eye" and one green
"eye".)
When you reach the "3 Eyed Monster" you are nearly done. You
will have to go off the trail at this point to find the cache.
Watch where you are going and you should not even have to encounter
any of those evil elements such as Briars, etc.
If this were a daytime cache I would've rated it a 1.5/1.5 at
most. But, since it will be dark; you will have too be more
careful.
Here are some things to remember to bring:
1. A companion or two. The old...."there's safety in numbers"
thing!
2. Your GPS. Make sure you have good batteries.
3. A good flashlite for each person in your party....make sure
the batteries are good and strong before you leave the house!
Headlamps also would be great if you have one!
4. The cache page printout.
5. An adventurous spirit.
6. Your courage.
Please be careful out there and Have A lot of FUN!
