Ledge6: Due to a change in Nature Center policy as well as a few environmental concerns, this cache is now archived. Thanks to all who found it and participated in the survey. Thanks also to Bubolz Nature Center for allowing the cache to be placed.

This cache is located in a local nature preserve. The trail system is level and easy hiking. The cache itself is a large sized ammo can.
This is a dual purpose cache. It contains trade items and an ecological study survey that is part of the science curriculum that I teach at a local middle school. The cache has been placed in conjunction with a long-term environmental study that I assign to the eighth graders in my advanced science class. Each student chooses an area and observes that area through the change of seasons, while also completing different types of scientific study on their area. The cache has been placed with the permission of the nature center, though they do ask that you do as little bushwacking as possible. There is a trail that takes you to within 70 feet of the cache. The mid to late summer months will bring with it some stinging nettle, so long pants are recommended. The cache is a large size ammo can, painted camo, which contains a log book, trade goods and the previously mentioned survey. I urge each visitor to take the time to complete the survey, and I thank you in advance. The cache also contains copies of the curriculum I have developed for this program, feel free to share it with a teacher if you like.
