Geocache Description:

Jessie Smith Nature Preserve in Kent along .5 mile loop trail

This cache is named for the large (circumference of 130")Cucumber Magnolia tree (Magnolia acuminata)located about 80' south of the cache. This tree is quite impressive and worth the time to stop and admire. Although this is a massive specimen, the State/National champ in North Canton has a circumference of 288", which makes this Magnolia tree look small. To find out more about the National Register of Big Trees visit: (http://www.americanforests.org/resources/bigtrees/) The cache is a green plastic jar.
