Geocache Description:

Fox Bluff - McHenry County Conservation District

This is a multi-stage cache located in a new gem of a park, that McHenry County Conservation District saved from developers. It was a former ski hill and night club in the not so distant past. Your trip takes you up and down the ski hill. The above coords will take you to the first micro-cache which has the coords for locating the second micro (look for the ski lift equipment in the trees on your way to the Main Cache). The second micro will give you the coords to the Main Cache. Lots of trails and paths crisscrossing in this amazing park. Please explore all it's surprises.

As with many MCCD parks, you might find the parking lot closed in the Winter. You can still enter the park, its just a little longer walk.

The geocache is on McHenry County Conservation District land with permission.
· Absolutely no cutting of brush or other vegetation is allowed.
· Visitors must remain on designated trails until you are right at
the cache.
· It is the visitor’s responsibility to orient themselves with the
site rules.
· Sites are open sunrise to sunset, however some gates may not be
open until 8am.
· At certain times of the year, sites will close for a variety of
reasons.
